Standards of Osteopathic Practice apply to all osteopaths in the UK.
The General Osteopathic Council publish Standards of Practice that apply to all UK osteopaths. At SW19 Osteopaths we are committed to ensuring we follow and exceed these standards. If you wish to read the guidelines, you may use this link to download a copy:
Over the last 6 months Lara has effectively used the Emmett Technique to eliminate my persistent lower back pain as well as foot and heel pain. Charley is incredible! Cannot recommend SW19 osteopaths enough. I dislocated my elbow, described by the doctor as the worst dislocation without a break they had seen, the hospital told me I would get 60% max movement back. Thanks to Charley and her incredible skill set and knowledge I now have 99.99% movement back and have pushed my upper strength more than I ever thought I could. I saw Yan-Kei Man following a musculoskeletal injury, which she helped me treat. Impressed with Yan-Kei's professionalism and attentiveness, I have since introduced my young kids (3 and 5 years old) to osteopathy. In hindsight, a wise decision given that a scooter accident had left my 5 year old with a slight postural dysfunction. I thoroughly recommend Yan-Kei for her specialisation and impeccable manners.
